STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Tuesday, May 8, 2007/BeverageMarketing/ -- "The Swedish Ice Hotel" is the working title for a docu-series based on the original television script; "The Swedish Love Drink Saga 'Viagra Pop' From Niagara to Nexicite" -- from writer and journalist Richard H. Davis, the docu-drama will take viewers into the world of the ICEHOTEL(r) that is located 200km north of the Arctic Circle, near the village of Jukkasjärvi in the heart of Swedish Lapland. Each episode will uncover the lives, relationships and drama of the Ice Hotels staff and their guests. Davis' screenplay is in the style of Eric Roberts' character in the Coca-Cola kid.

The Swedish Ice Hotel saga is a sexy, savvy and wickedly funny screenplay based on a series of insider interviews with the Swedish love drink's marketing team; Michael Wallén, Mats Selin, Titti Palsson of Stockholm, Sweden and Maja Kristofersdotter of Reykjavik, Iceland. The aphrodisiac beverage first became popular at Sweden's Ice Hotel's Absolut Ice Bar where they mix half Absolut vodka and Niagara, on ice -- or rather in a glass made of ice called the 'From Sweden with Love' arctic martini a sexy good night drink. The script also documents the Pfizer legal battle over the drinks name, even though the love drink was not a hot seller in the Land of the Midnight Sun where few Swedes bought the beverage until a few bottles of this so-called romance drink made its way to the Land of Opportunity, better known as Arkansas.
Overnight the Swedish made love drink became a world-wide hit among women, it was touted by the press as the Female Viagra, not a blue pill but a blue sparkling honeymoon drink called 'Niagara', named for the most romantic place on earth Niagara Falls. Lari Williams launches the drink on Valentines Day in Little Rock, Arkansas with her perky signature southern comfort wit, sassy style with her news clips featuring Linda Bloodworth Thomason (Liberating Paris), Mary Steenburgen, Former President Bill Clinton his senator wife Hillary Rodham, Paris Hilton and more. Davis tackles the most delicious and dastardly details of the Swedish love drinks trademark ordeal by Pfizer and recovery as and name change as Nexcite, Hollywood style.
"We are absolutely thrilled to be involved in such a high-profile television project," said Michael Wallén of Stockholm-based Nexcite Drinks AB. "The Swedish Ice Hotel is a sexy story that will certainly create a stir." said Wallén. Davis is the reporter who's news article that first broke the Niagara story to the media, and he has been documenting the story from day one, and was even named in the Pfizer trademark lawsuit, the docu-series is not to be confused with Julia Roberts and Adam Sandler upcoming comedy film "Genie in a Bottle" revolving around the Niagara love drink's, Little Rock coffee shop exploits based on the Suzi Parker's article about Niagara which ran on Nerve.com, Davis' screenplay documentary drama deals with the Swedish version of events.
