BLUE WHALE® Corporation Announces New 50/50 Joint Venture With VALUE PLUS COMMUNICATIONS, INC., Debuting The Next Generation; "Mary Jane" Mobile Satellite WiFi Air To Sea Radiotelephone - That Allows U.S. And International Airline Passengers To Make And Receive Absolutely FREE In-Flight And Wi-Fi Network Calls
SAN FRANCISCO--(Marketwire - April 20, 2012) - BLUE WHALE® Corporation, a division of HARAGUCHI Co., Ltd., a leading provider of world-wide prepaid unlimited flat-rate WiFi access, today announced a new 50/50 joint venture with the VALPARAISO, Indiana-based VALUE PLUS COMMUNICATIONS, INC., and the launch of the newly introduced AirFone®, that allows airline passengers to make and receive FREE in-flight calls. BLUE WHALE® Wi-Fi allows Japanese Business Travelers to stay fully connected on any Wi-Fi enabled device for just ¥420 yen per month! BLUE WHALE® private access areas include airports, hotels, cafés, stadiums, cruise ships, casinos and U.S Airlines using a satellite link via the BLUE WHALE® Wi-Fi Internet network in the sky. Japanese Business Travelers can now connect to the BLUE WHALE® Wi-Fi network via any Wi-Fi enabled device including iPhones and the Amazon Kindle.
"Nippon Telegraph and Telephone VHF aircraft frequency operators used to receive aircraft radio calls and provide two-way in-flight airline passenger communications in conjunction with AT&T for a fee, however each air to ground radiotelephone call would cost air travelers five bucks per minute," said Richard Davis, President and CEO of BLUE WHALE® Corporation, "Now any U.S or international airline traveler or frequent flyer companion can rent or lease the new Airfone® for the same value plus price as our BLUE WHALE® Wi-Fi network service per month with no long-term contracts, no cancellation fees, no per-minute charges that can substantially cut in-flight calling cost down to less-than-zero," said Davis.
The new Airfone® is available for rent on a monthly cash basis. Using your satellite phone is as simple as using a cellular phone and all our satellite phones include 24/7 technical support available for FREE from your satellite phone, anytime, anywhere. Airfone® has two stage dialing so people call a Japanese or United States based telephone number to reach you. If you don't want friends, family or associates to have to call the satellite phone's assigned number, an international number located in either Prague or Ukraine, we can provide a FREE Ginza-Tokyo facsimile phone number or a San Francisco Bay Area AT&T number that will forward directly to your satellite phone.
"We see the new AirFone® as a significant alternative solution to AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile dropped calls or denial of service attacks, or when your weak cell phone signal cannot transmit in a dead zone to a nearby cell site, base station, or repeater," says Ira W. Scott, Chairman and CFO of VALUE PLUS COMMUNICATIONS, INC.,"We believe the AirFone® will be a must have frequent flyer travel-bag item from the Duty-Free shop and online demand will be equally strong, as our network of independent affiliate dealers embrace this dual use phone," said Scott.

About the AirFone®
When the AirFone® is in satellite "on mode" it must have "line-of-sight" to the satellites in order for it to operate, this means the antenna on the phone must be outdoors with nothing obstructing it's clear view of the sky. AirFone® Radiotelephones is capable of making and receiving calls anywhere in the world, including the Seven Seas, the North pole and the Antarctic. In the Iridium® satellite "on mode" you always pay ¥100 yen per minute rate no matter where on earth you are. The only exception is when calling other NON-Iridium Satellite phones or in "dual mode" when the phone will try to reach the FREE WiFi signals first then the pay by-the-minute Iridium® Satellite network. In WiFi only "on mode" all calls are absolutely FREE. The AirFone® mobile handset dimensions are quite small compared to the standard NATO juggernaut style of military satellite radiotelephones, at just 0.75 x 3 x 6.75-inches in size with a near perfect ergonomic ratio of one-four-nine.
LEGAL NOTICE: In many countries the possession of an AirFone® is illegal, its signals are STRICTLY PROHIBITED because anonymous made calls can bypass local telecom systems, hindering state sanctioned wiretapping attempts.
