2) Choose nutrient rich foods: vegetables, fruits and whole grains, fat-free or low-fat milk and milk products, seafood, lean meats and poultry, eggs, beans and peas, nuts and seeds.

3) Limit the intake of: sodium, solid fats, added sugars and refined grains.

These recommended guidelines are intended as an integrated set of advice to achieve an overall healthy eating pattern. The new food icon is meant to be a simple easy reminder for families, children and nutrition professionals.

NEW YORK CITY, Apr., 15, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Logo Condoms Inc., is launching a new line of Titanic condoms featuring the White Star logo and the ships location. The biggest ship of its kind, the Titanic was billed 'unsinkable' by its owners White Star Line, but, on April 15, 1912, it hit an iceberg and sank in the cold waters of the North Atlantic, with the loss of 1,517 lives, however, according to Jeff Weiss, President and CEO of Logo Condoms Inc., the Titanic ship, did not have to sink, if not for the slow thinking of Captain Smith, at 62 the most senior of the White Star Line's captains, by not shutting down Titanic's three steam engines and her four turbine engines running the 400 kilowatt steam-driven electric generators, used to provide electrical power to the ship, plus two 30 kilowatt auxiliary generators for emergency bilge pump use, the ship would have stayed afloat and remained operational while at full steam, explained Weiss.

Weiss' controversial theory involves Titanic's watertight doors, his theory suggests that if these doors had been left opened, and by not killing the steam engines, Titanic could have remained afloat long enough to steam ahead at 25 knots to reach Halifax or Saint John's, Canada, about 500 nautical miles away, "Titanic was equipped with five giant ballast and bilge pumps, each capable of discharging 250 tons of sea water per hour and three bilge pumps with 150 tons per hour capacity and her own waterworks that could pump water out of the vessel via a complex network of pipes and valves," said Weiss.

"I can prove the Titanic could have made it to its final destination of New York City, it was physically possible to do so, only increased fuel usage for the ballast and bilge pumps, was needed, while making for very uncomfortable vibrations through out the ship, this terrible accident could have been completely avoided, by not stopping for a bit of sightseeing in the middle of the North Atlantic, it was like Captain Smith was going on a whale watching excursion eager to get a glimpse of Moby Dick," joked Weiss.
